Restaurants and Breweries
These hotspots are perfect for celebratory dinners, a day out, lunch with friends, and everything in between. Keep in mind that breweries and distilleries may not allow people under 21 to join you on a tour or at a tasting, so check with staff before you go!
Bendt Distilling Co.
Formerly known as Witherspoon Distillery, Bendt Distilling Co. is still located in Old Town Lewisville and still serves up amazing all-American whiskey. Their products include a blended whiskey, a single barrel reserve, and seasonal offerings. The best way to taste them is right where they’re made! Sixty-minute tours plus spirit tastings are offered on Fridays and Saturdays.
While tours are limited to 21+ visitors, Bendt’s tasting hall, lounge, and outdoor whiskey garden are open to families. You’ll find a large selection of craft cocktails. And don’t miss Happy Hour on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 to 10 PM.

Family Fun
GatSplat
GatSplat has three locations, including one in Lewisville that offers paintball, nerf parties, and axe throwing. It’s a great way to get active and blow off some steam in a climate-controlled environment! GatSplat is super popular for kids’ (and adults’) parties, but you can make an easy online reservation to play anytime they’re open. Each GatSplat has a pizza place that delivers to its location, and you can bring your own food and beverages as well.
InterSkate
InterSkate has everything you need for a fun day out in Lewisville: a floor that can accommodate over 1,000 skaters; a snack bar; secure lockers for your belongings; a great sound system; and the option to rent inline skates, speed skates, and quad skates.
Open skating is offered frequently for $6 admission, but InterSkate has lots of fun events too, like Adult Skate Night and MLK Day Skate. You can even take skating lessons.
Labyrinth
Labyrinth combines the fun and challenge of escape rooms and obstacle courses to make a totally unique experience. Their 42 mini-games (called Levels) provide an opportunity for your team to work together, experiment, delegate, and more in your quest to beat the Level.
There are also four party rooms, where you can bring presents, cake, and your own decorations to celebrate a special occasion!

Lewisville Lake Symphony
Lewisville Lake Symphony is a community orchestra that puts on shows at various locations throughout the year. In the past, they’ve played at Medical City Lewisville Grand Theater, Herring Rec Center, Trinity Presbyterian Church of Flower Mound, and other locations. A ticket to an individual concert costs $25, but you can save by purchasing season tickets, and treat yourself to many nights of beautiful music!
Visual Art League
The Visual Art League (VAL) is an organization of volunteers dedicated to promoting and celebrating fine crafts and visual arts. Its goals are:
- To provide a diverse, enriching experience to members of the local community
- To encourage creative expression

The Greater Lewisville Community Theatre
The Greater Lewisville Community Theatre exists in the oldest building in Lewisville! It was established as a non-profit in 1983 and has been serving the community with the performing arts ever since. Recent shows include:

- Laughter on the 23rd Floor
LakeCities Ballet Theatre (LBT)
LBT was established with the goal of providing a performing outlet for local dancers and dance students. It has grown since 1984 into a strong community asset, putting on well-regarded shows each season, as well as its annual Nutcracker performance. International guest artists that have joined LakeCities ballerinas include members of New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre.
Our Productions Theatre Co.
Our Productions has been presenting new, classic, and diverse performances since 1993, when it was established. Besides plays for both adults and children, it has a few other offerings for the community:
- Play Readers Club – A book-club-style gathering of professionals and patrons that meets every Thursday to discuss scripts.
- The Young Artist Training Program (YATP) – A conservatory-style program that admits students by audition each year. Most train with YATP for more than five years, gaining invaluable experience in the performing arts.
The Actors Conservatory Theatre (ACT)
The ACT’s focus is children. Since 1999, they’ve been bringing classic literature to kids through musicals and plays. Besides acting in plays, kids can even take part in producing them. The ACT’s plays are a lot of fun to get involved with and fun to watch too!

Best Little Brewfest in Texas
Since 2014, the Best Little Brewfest in Texas has been happening right in our backyards: Old Town Lewisville. The 2020 date hasn’t been set yet, but it’s sure to be a good time for people over 21. The brewery lineup in 2019 numbered over 70, with wine and hard seltzer represented as well. And don’t forget the music! In 2019 it included:

We’ve written about Lewisville Western Days before, and it’s still going strong. In 2020 you’ll find it in Old Town Lewisville on September 25 and 26. Admission is free before 7 PM and $10 after. Old Town Holiday Stroll is a day packed with fun! It will occur on December 5, 2020 from 8 AM to 8 PM. Bring the whole family for:

Sounds of Lewisville
Check out this awesome free concert series in 2020 beginning June 2. Every Tuesday night in June and July a different act will be featured from 7 to 9:30 PM. Bring your blanket to Wayne Ferguson Plaza for a fantastic night of music. Sounds of Lewisville has been a Lewisville tradition since 1991, and lucky fans have gotten to see such big names as the Dixie Chicks and King Creole!
