For the fourth year running, North Texas is set to hold its annual craft beer festival, the Best Little Brewfest in Texas! This year the event will be hosted in Lewisville on June 17.
Ticket Info
General admission is $43, which gets you entrance to the festival at 4:30 PM and 12 tastings. The beer festival runs until 8 PM, but don’t go home right away! There will be an after-party with live music, the price of which is included in your ticket.
If you want to treat yourself, buy a VIP ticket. For $74.25, you’ll get all the benefits of the general admission tickets, plus early entrance to the festival with doors opening at 3 PM!
For those who want to skip the festival and only attend the after-party, there are designated-driver tickets available for $11.50.

Ales from Over 80 Breweries
In keeping with its sterling tradition, the festival will feature over 200 craft ales from more than 80 breweries, many of which are Texas-based. Tickets come with 12 tastings, but additional cards will be available for $5.99 each.
Don’t fret if beer isn’t your thing. Also on offer will be a range of wines, spirits, and ciders with over 300 options available. Numerous vendors will also be dotted around the show, selling food, soda, and merchandise, so you can chow down while you drink.
Some of the breweries that will be attending include:
- Panther Island Brewing
- Oskar Blues Brewery
- Shiner Beers
- The Texas Ale Project®
Live Music
What’s the best thing to pair with cold brews? Music! Bands like Kim Nall & The Fringe, GOAT, and Tennessee Stiffs will entertain attendees throughout the day. In the evening, acts will provide entertainment for the after-party.
Brewing Contest
For the budding brewer, don’t miss the chance to enter the Professional Brewery Competition. Winners will be announced on the event’s main stage. This year, Texas breweries are the focus and pride of the event. Participants will come from all over the state. As such, the winner might legitimately be considered the best beer in Texas!
All Proceeds to Charity
Another thing that makes this beer festival particularly special is that 100% of its proceeds go to charity. In 2015, the festival was able to raise over $45,000 for Cloud 9 Charities, such as Rachel’s Challenge and Metroport Meals on Wheels. What could be better than drinking great beer and doing good at the same time?
If you’re in search of the best celebration of beer around, check out this unique event. Whether you enjoy craft ales or simply want to enjoy some live music, the Best Little Brewfest in Texas promises to be a great day out!
